First off, for those of you who missed it, I wrote some travel posts about my epic road trip for Spirituality & Health, and they were published last Wednesday. You can read them here. You’ll also find the posts permalinked on my “Web & Blog Work” page, where I’ll be adding any other web or blog work I do in the future (hence the page’s title).

To that end, I wanted to explain a couple of the features on my new site. First, on the lefthand side, right under my smiling face, you’ll see, “Follow Blog Via Email.” Should you wish to do this, all you have to do is enter your email address in the box below, hit “Follow,” and from thereon out, you’ll receive my blog posts via email. Handy, no?

Secondly, one of the reasons I switched to WordPress was that it allows me to create permanent pages, aside from the blog (sidenote: days after I finished the website, I learned that Blogger also allows you to create pages, but for the sake of my sanity and the few strands of hair I managed not to pull out during this site’s construction, I’m going to pretend that’s not the case). Up at the top, you’ll find tabs for these pages. My published work will be permalinked accordingly, and I’ll also list any changes to my editing practices, resume, or “currents” (it’d be easier if you just click on this tab, rather than me trying to explain what it is).

Lastly, should you wish to get in touch with me about anything, there’s a handy little “Contact” page. Fill out your name, email, and message, and I will respond to you promptly. Other than that, enjoy the new site, and stay tuned for updates. For instance, I’m still working on figuring out how to plant those money trees my parents keep talking about. I’m also still trying to figure out how to become Batman. If I succeed in either of these endeavors, you’ll be the first to know.
